Ethiopian Mocha Djimma has the greatest catchment area in the country. The body and acidity of these coffees are well-known. Djimma grows between 1341 and 1829 meters above sea level. The plants are well covered by the larger forest trees, which give shade from the midday sun and help to keep the soil moist.
This natural processed coffee is grown at heights ranging from 4,400 to 6,000 feet above sea level in Ethiopia’s Illubabor and Kaffa regions, in the country’s largest catchment area, which produces and exports about 60,000 tons of coffee each year. Jimma Coffee is another name for Djimma. This is a one-of-a-kind coffee that is said to be the closest in flavor to the original wild plant.
